I upgraded to 14.0.1. and cannot get past the log on screen to blogspot.com. nor access you tube.com

I uninstalled 14.0.1 from the control panel, and restarted the computer. I installed 13.0, and While I can get on youtube, i still cannot get on blogger.

I have wiped/cleaned the cashe, the cookies, the temp internet files. Yet still cannot load this page.

What are your settings for cookies here:

orange Firefox button or classic Tools menu > Options > Privacy

For example:

Firefox will: "Use custom settings for history" [X] Accept cookies from sites [X] Accept third party cookies Keep until: "I close Firefox"

Have you tried Firefox's Safe Mode, to rule out conflicts with extensions?

First, I recommend backing up your Firefox settings in case something goes wrong. See Back up and restore information in Firefox profiles. (You can copy your entire Firefox profile folder somewhere outside of the Mozilla folder.)

Next, restart Firefox in Firefox's Safe Mode (Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode) using

Help > Restart with Add-ons Disabled

In the Safe Mode dialog, do not check any boxes, just click "Continue in Safe Mode." Plugins might still be enabled.

If you can use Blogger normally, that would point to one of your add-ons or custom settings as the problem.

Any change?

Can you access the page in Private Browsing mode?

Are the cookie settings set to ask every time or do you generally accept cookies?

If clearing cookies doesn't work then it is possible that the file cookies.sqlite that stores the cookies is corrupted.
Rename (or delete) cookies.sqlite (cookies.sqlite.old) and delete other present cookie files like cookies.sqlite-journal in the Firefox Profile Folder in case the file cookies.sqlite got corrupted.
