When are you going to maintenance the problem with scripts not responding? I am ready to move to another browser.
These scripts which vary but almost always include 'chrome' in the filename slow everything down so badly that I am ready to drop Firefox for another browser. I seems to have started with the newest version. Get the bugs worked out.

It is probably one of your add-ons not working properly. Most such errors will include the name of the add-on.

You need to update some plug-ins:

A full chrome://....... path might help us figure out exactly which add-on is the cause, or least let us "guess-timate" as to the probable cause.

Start Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of the extensions is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
- Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.

You can uninstall and remove Java Console extensions, you do not need them to run Java applets.
