I keep getting a seach engine call "ASK" instead of my home page. What is going on?
It appears that a web site named Ask.com has somehow stolen my home page.

Mozilla is evidently going to force everyone to treat Ask.com as if were our homepage. That really sucks. Chrome here I come.
You installed some Ask.com garbage, either on purpose or inadvertently with another program, and you have the audacity to blame Mozilla for your oversight.
Mozilla says that Ask.com is an addon to Firefox, but I cannot find a way to eliminate it.
It's a really easy oversight to make and it's a little tiresome to remove this kind of junk from family & parents' computers time and again. People have the "audacity" as you call it to blame what's obvious to blame - in this case it's not obvious to them that the pirates of Ask.com stole their browser through whatever wares got installed and therefore blame goes to whats infront of them and not responding like it used to.
Mozilla needs to step up their game and put in a big red button that says "remove bad stuff!" because like it or not, grandmas use firefox now and they sure as hell won't understand any other function. They just want bad stuff to go away.
