Have you tried making Firefox your default browser in "Preferences"? If not you can find the "Make Default…" button in the "General" panel.

Otherwise you can change the default web browser in the "Control Panel" in Windows. Click on "Default Programs", then on "Set your default programs", look for Firefox in the left-hand pane and click the "Set this program as default" link.

yes, I try, it won't go. I click on {make default} Then I click on Firefox and it still won't do it. I even re-set my fire fox twice and still won't go

Then try to open again "Default Programs" in "Control Panel", select Firefox but this time click on the "Choose defaults for this program" link to see which files and protocols will open in Firefox and click "Select All".
