For the past 2 days, I start Firefox the within a few seconds, it crashes.

I've run virus and malware scans but my system come up clean.

I've used the about: crashes tool in firefox, but nothing seems to be known about this ID, any suggestions?

Click the Firefox button, go to Add-ons, then Extensions and disable AVG Safe Search.

The signature: RtlpWorkerCallout has been found to the result of a conflict between firewall products in some cases as mentioned here, so it may not necessarily be malware related: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/3382240/firefox-error-on-rtlpworkercallout

Thanks for your reply Xircal. I've checked my extensions and AVG safe search is already disabled.

My thanks for your input mha007.

I've followed your link and am working through the various points. I've found that if I stay on this page I can continue without FF crashing, however if I move away onto another web page FF crashes within about 10 seconds - even in Safe Mode.

Thanks for all your input - I'll have to sign off for to-night as I've got to be up for work tomorrow. But I shall tackle the problem again tomorrow.

Goodnight all - and again thanks for your help.
