Good afternoon, If I have Firefox VPN can I easily and without restriction access BBC iPlayer (based in the UK) from outside the UK? If the answer is yes, what gaurantees would I have that this access was always available? I would only use the VPN to access BBC iPlayer. Thank you, Glenn

Hello,

Unfortunately, the BBC iPlayer and ITV is currently incompatible with the Mozilla VPN. Our engineering team is currently working to resolve this in the future, but do not currently have a workaround at this time.

I purchased Mozilla VPN today - primarily so that I could access the BBC iPlayer from my home in Canada. I understood that the ‘better quality’ VPNs (ie, not free) were able to bypass BBC detection. Apparently not! I’ve tried everything I can think of - but am blocked because BBC can tell I’m using a VPN. When (if ever) will this be rectified by Mozilla?
