Why is there no possibility to interact with comments in add-on forums?

So, let's explain by example: I came across the greatest addons of all, the multi-account containers. There seems to be a lot going on in the comments / rating section. I saw some comments I really wanted to offer help / insight, but there is no way to respond to a comment or interact with it in any way. From a user / community standpoint, the benefit would be additional information to certain problems, from a mozilla standpoint the benefit would (could) be less support requests + more data about activity on a certain addon / feature.

To get it straight: It would be great if one could write responses to comments in the addon (any other) section. A notification mechanism for the user might make sense (I wrote a comment, somebody responded, I see a notification in my mozilla profile, you know the little bell and all that)

(I'm sorry if this "question" is in the wrong place)

Thanks for the input. Sure, the threading of answers to comments might go "wild". But in my experience this helps to pinpoint problems or hotspots that concern many. Either way, I'll take a look at the discourse link, but tomorrow. It's 3am in europe :) Thanks

HI, it is. Support Volunteers can't make changes to Firefox. Mozilla only ok's Extensions submitted by Developers to be used with Firefox. Mozilla ok's them only and gives the Developer a web page to distribute their Extension from. Developers have a Support link and a Contact Link; you may find that the sites have places for comments.

The 2nd URL is add-ons : To submit suggestions for new or changed features, may I suggest: Feedback: https://qsurvey.mozilla.com/s3/FirefoxInput/ or https://discourse.mozilla.org/c/add-ons

Please let us know if this solved your issue or if need further assistance.

Hi, thanks for the quick reply. My suggestion does not concern firefox or the addon directly, but rather the forum software to discuss addons. That's why I'm probably in the wrong place here. Would be cool if you could point me to the people who maintain the Addon pages.

There's a forum for the Mozilla Add-ons site, sometimes called AMO after the first letters of addons.mozilla.org:

http://discourse.mozilla.org/c/add-ons/addons-mozilla-org

Right now, only the developer can respond to reviews. I do see the appeal of being able to answer questions of other users and help them, but there's also some risk of comments gone wild, so...
