How do I stop all the pop ups in this browser? The pop up blocker I installed seems to be not working.
The pop ups appearing are asking me to install this and that. Also, the page keeps on redirecting to other pages which I don't even know that exist.

Also, the forum software detected your Firefox as version 13. Is that correct?
Version 13 is not secure; Mozilla discloses security flaws after each new release. Is something holding you back from upgrading to Firefox 40? Please let us know so we can suggest solutions or workarounds.

I'm not really tech savy so your suggestions are really much appreciated but how do I upgrade to the Firefox 40? When I go to Help>About Firefox and check for updates, it says that mine is up to date. >_<

I managed to get the Firefox 40 but I'm still having the same issue.. grrrrr
