Emails in my inbox do not show any details despite the header still showing. I have recently upgraded to 

	Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.3; WOW64; rv:31.0) Gecko/20100101 Thunderbird/31.7.0

I did have a problem earlier with my Norton Security scan which was sorted with an online session.

Yeah, I bet a file called inbox was deleted or quarantines. Hence no messages to display.

Right click the folder, select properties and then the repair button. This re-indexes the file inbox. As I believe Norton will have removed it. Expect all mail in the list to disappear. as there is nothing left to index.

Thank you Matt for your very prompt reply. I guess I have lost the details despite Norton assuring me that their actions wouldn't have affected my files. Looks like I need to have further words with them

Perhaps stop Norton from scanning your emails. Norton Settings > Network > Message Protection Email Anti-virus scan = off

In this case it will be the sonarscanning that needs disabling.
