took hours to download emails on initial use. could time frame be limited?
When I first ran the Thunderbird beta, there were thousands of emails in some of my accounts that took hours to download. Is there a way to limit the downloaded messages to the last month or two only when first starting to use the program? Too late for me now unless I install it on another computer. Thanks.

Gmail doles out the last month I think it is unless you over ride the default on their site.
