Tried downloading, only got blank screen except for Google box. Help, please.

Main problem is I tried downloading Firefox a number of times but only get a blank screen except for a blank Google box. I never get the full Firefox home screen. Why? Please help, I've spent hours on this, trying different methods to get Firefox only to end up with the same, incomplete result.

Where are you trying to download Firefox from?

Have you tried downloading Firefox thru this URL?
