I think windows is removing firefox upon completion of download, I'm not seeing the icon appear on desktop, programs menu or as an option in the default browsers menu. Is this user error or is windows/bing being a little preditory?
I wanted firefox as my browser, and tried downloading the day I purchased the computer. I think windows is removing firefox upon the completion of the download. I have run the download three+ times now and am not getting the firefox icon to appear in the programs menu, on the desktop, or as an option under the default browsers menu. Is this operator error or is windows/bing acting in a preditory fashion?

Hi,
Please make sure that you are downloading Firefox from a legitimate site. You can also download from any of the many Mozilla sites: https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/new/ For choosing between different languages: https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/all.html
Also, please make sure to right-click the file and Run as Administrator to start the installation.
I've run it as current user and in administrative mode and same thing still happens as stated above....

Save the Firefox setup file to your Desktop and then install it.
