Firefox Updated page will NOT go away!
Start page is set to blank. Home page is set to nothing. Yet every time I open Firefox I get the stupid "Hooray your Firefox is up to date!" message as well as the header that asks if I'll help Mozilla improve by monitoring my browsing, to which I ALWAYS click no. I've cleared the cache a zillion times, and this is just annoying! Is anybody else experiencing this or have any ideas?

That did it! (Actually, the prefs file wasn't locked, but the access did need to be cleaned up.) thanks
