Firefox update while I was trying to resolve a issue with a brother fax drive to update for windows 7, now every time I go to firefox it pops up, "Do you want to allow changes on your hard drive" as if it didn't finish, so I answer "yes", firefox browser comes up, but if I get out and go back in it does the same thing. in the pop up window is listed; C:\program file(x86)Mozilla firefox\firefox.exe But when I search it, nothing

Check that you do not run Firefox as Administrator.
Right-click the Firefox desktop shortcut and choose "Properties".
In the Compatibility tab, make sure that Privilege Level: "Run this program as Administrator" is not selected.
You also need to check the Properties of the firefox.exe program in the Firefox program directory.
If you can't make the changes then you need to start Windows Explorer as Administrator.
