Why are ZIP files downloaded to my 'Temp' directory instead of the directory that I specified for downloads?

When I download a ZIP file, I would like the ZIP file to download to the download directory that I specified in Tools/Options/General. However, ZIP files are always downloaded to my 'Temp' file (%USERPROFILE%/AppData/Local/Temp).

Is there a way to change this behavior?

The reason is like that you have Firefox set up to open up Zip files directly with Windows Explorer. In that case, it downloads the file in the temp location and opens up immediately.

To change, open the Applications tab under Options. Find the option for "compressed (zipped) folder" and change to Always Ask. "Save File" may also work, but "Always Ask" is likely the behavior you want.
