I will be on a web page and all of a sudden another tab opens to a web page(usually related in content to a previous page I had been viewing like from a google search) I haven't clicked on anything to bring up a new tab etc. I have great security on my machine and have run virus scans, malwarebytes, superantispyware etc. My java, flash etc are all up to date. This is very much like a BHO except it is actively opening tabs. So the browser is hijacked, but I can't find the problem. I tried a search on the issue, and there is a page from Mozilla with this exact problem, that says the page cannot be found(but I viewed the cached page) there didn't appear to be any solution listed despite numerous people with the same problem. As far as the copy paste in Help>troubleshooting, it laimed there was too much information so I edited out printer crap...

Did you try to run your virus scans in Windows Safe Mode? I did it with Malwarebytes on my friend's PC and it found the virus that was not detected when scanned in Windows Normal Mode.
