How to delete "main" sites (like "youtube.com") from automatic suggestions in the address bar

When I type "you" in the address bar, Firefox autofills to "youtube.com". However, I would like it to autofill to "youtube.com/feed/subscriptions" instead.

In other cases, I can use shift+delete to remove suggestions so they no longer are offered; however, this does not appear to work for sites like youtube.com, as pressing shift+delete temporarily removes the suggestion but adding an additional "t" ("yout") causes it to autofill as "youtube.com" again.

Is there a way to delete these suggestion so the subdomain "youtube.com/feed/subscriptions" is automatically suggested when I start typing this?
