I've asked the same question since 14 Dec 2017 My Master Password experienced a glitch/forced auto refresh whilst entering. The password chosen wasn't recorded. My mobile phone and tablet no longer synch However, I can FULLY access my Account on both devices, view all Logins etc. I can request Confirm Emails Verification Codes etc. They won't work I've tried All Troubleshooting I can login to my Firefox Account Manager and in 48 hours, everything will be gone. I used to love FF bc it was easy, secure and synched/allowed me to use on my Mac and Droid Mobile devices without Issue. Now, bc of the password SNAFU, I can't Login, establish Synch and the Verification Codes will not work I have years of Data, Research, Campaign Plans, things I use now and will need as we near November. I've asked the Community several times. I've emailed Mozilla. Not even a "We Received your Message" response! Alphabet, even though Hollow, responds when their apps mess-up. I'm going to lose everything (can't back up, bc of Synch Issue) Again, I've tried each Troubleshooting Step, as they evolved over 3 years. I am politely begging for someone to please acknowledge and at least try to help me! Wouldn't you want the same?

It sounds like you will need to set up a new account. A Firefox Account (and Firefox Sync) is used to move data between copies of Firefox - unlike other online accounts, data is not stored on it to be made accessible.

Thank you for taking time to reply! Seriously. Oddly, only one device will not Synch/Allow a Synch. The other has all options highlighted and "clickable" with Master Turned Off. It sent Verification and Numerical Codes, but when trying to access using them, the site froze, saying "Enable all Cookies" I did so, on all Browsers including FF, but no Joy. Eventually, it timed itself out. The tablet account is more accessible than my mobile, but I can do the same as stated, on both. I can see when the two ceased communicating and playing nicely with the other. What if I say "Sod-It" and don't care about Synching (hasn't really worked in a bit, can I continue using my account(s) as they are? Two separate/same Accounts on different devices, will my info continue saving as it has? As for making a new Account before the deadline, any suggestions? I don't mind burning one of I can save the other. I hate asking so many questions at once, I feel horrible and don't expect you to devote any additional time, you've done more than I expected would happen

A Firefox Account and Firefox Sync is not online storage, it is a way to transfer data between copies of Firefox. The data that is moved is already on your devices - you are not going to lose anything unless you delete it from your devices.
