Restore Previous Session in Tools --> Options doesn't seem to keep them in the same order

Hello, and thanks for reading my post.

I have Firefox 73.0 on a Windows 10 PC and, as in the past, have configured this version to "restore previous session" at startup by checking the appropriate box in Tools --> Options.

However, I've noticed that, when restarting Firefox (from it simply being "off", not necessarily from a crash of some kind), the various windows I had open DO restore...but in a different order than before.

How can I make them come back in the same order, please? (Please note that, for now at least, I'm asking about individual windows, not specifically about tabs within the same window.)

Thank you very much, Bram Weiser

This is a known, long-standing bug: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1235231

You can't really do anything about it.

Thank you, TyDraniu. I had no idea this was a long-standing bug.

(I'd done a search of some relevant keywords but nothing showed up that matched my situation.)

Hope this gets fixed, or that a usable workaround gets distributed, soon, and thanks again, Bram Weiser
