Did refresh still the same issues.  :(

I am struggling with my favorites in center of page sometimes they work and sometimes I click on one and it just spins and spins.

Seems to be something with the tabs and its just erratic as I said before Fred.

Guess we need to try something else

Today Firefox is working my my lol.

I first did safemode then did refresh maybe it took a few times rebooting to get it to work

Good to hear.

Firefox is one big mess. Its so erratic. My favs dont show up and when that happens I have to close it out again. Its not syncing right at all.

Often times I have to exist and relaunch it.

There has to be some solution Fred lol

Just clicked on my fav tab and all it is doing at the top is spinning..............I am still smiling and I love Firefox but someone must know how to fix this. It all started a week and a half ago with a Firefox update :(

Let’s try another full clean re-install;

Download Firefox For All languages And Systems {web link}

Save the file. Then Close Firefox.

Using your file browser, open the Programs Folder on your computer.

Windows: C:\Program Files C:\Program Files (x86)

Mac: Open the "Applications" folder. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/how-download-and-install-firefox-mac

Do Not remove any profile folders.

Type about:profiles<enter> in the address bar.

I have another issue.......my screen is not filling out the whole page on the left side and I have expanded it on the right as much as I can. Seems firefox is working right but what now?

I think I will do another clean install see what happens.

Well it was not filling out the monitor and yes I moved it.

Its working right now but not dependable so not sure what the issue is. Sometimes I can type in the address bar and it works or click on my favorites and it works then poof does not work.

It is possible that your firewall or other security software blocks or restricts Firefox without informing you, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox application. Remove all rules for Firefox from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full, unrestricted, access for Firefox and the plugin-container process and the updater process.

I have Trend and never had to give permission for anything with it. I will look tho for sure.

Its very erratic sometimes it works sometime it does not.

Trend is not the problem. I have had it for 6.5 years and never one issue and there is no permission list. I cannot most times type a web address in and it go there. It just keeps spinning like its not recognizing the address. Sometimes my favorites work sometimes not. Something is really wrong with this. I have been struggling playing with it to work but I know there is a solution. I have done a clean install 3 times now Is it the profile if so how do I repair/fix that.

You can create a new profile to test if your current profile is causing the problem.

If the new profile works then you can transfer files from a previously used profile to the new profile, but be cautious not to copy corrupted files to avoid carrying over problems.

Thanks but I am gonna need more info than that to do exactly what you suggested. Especially with the be cautious part. How do I know what the corrupted files are?

Often time I click on the firefox icon in my toolbar so I can load it on my left monitor and many many times that does not work either.

I am not a computer tech but I do follow instructions well :)

I did a refresh and its worse. Does anyone know how to resolve this. I appreciate the help but this is not fun.

Does anyone at firefox teamview or something? I have never had such a mess with it before.
