Hi lynsi, to update your Adobe Reader/Acrobat software, please use the Help menu inside Reader/Acrobat, "Check for Updates" function. The reason you always need to do this is that Adobe releases intermediate patches that you may not get when you download fresh from their site, only through their internal updater.

Once your Adobe software says it is up-to-date, you can exit out of Firefox and start it up again to try to refresh your Plugin list. At that point, what version of the Acrobat plugin does Firefox list? You can use my plugin lister page to check the version number:

https://www.jeffersonscher.com/res/plugins.html

Now... There is a frequent problem on the Mozilla Plugin Check website that it gets confused about the decimal places on the version numbers for this particular plugin. If your Adobe software says that no updates are available, then that's probably the best information for now.
