Was your Reading List a feature provided by a website or an add-on? I'm not familiar with it.

Have you noticed any extensions missing or disabled? You can check on the Add-ons page. Either:

  • Ctrl+Shift+a
  • "3-bar" menu button (or Tools menu) > Add-ons

In the left column, click Extensions. First, all the enabled extensions are listed in alphabetical order, and then the disabled extensions at the bottom.

Oops, sorry, I just discovered this is a new feature in Beta. Hopefully someone familiar with how that data is stored can suggest how to recover it, if necessary.

This feature was disabled in beta 8 while it is being rethought. I'm not sure where your Reading List data resides. Most likely a SQLite database in your profile folder, but whether it is with bookmark data in places or in a different file, I'm not sure.

That data is stored in the reading-list.sqlite file in the Firefox profile folder.
