i no longer have acess to my gmail account. ... @gmail.com. would like to change my user name to ... @firefox.com in order to open a old phone. thanks

I take it you are referring to Firefox Account.

There is no *@firefox.com email and if there was it would not be available to the general public.

Only you can change the email used with your Firefox account and it has to be a valid email that you have use of already. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/change-primary-email-address-firefox-accounts
