Why has my aol tool-bar disappeared? I want it back! If I don't get it back, I am going to leave Fire Fox and start using a different browser!

I have been using aol toolbar for a long time, and now it has disappeared! WHY?? I want it back! Fire Fox is USELESS without it! If I don't get my AOL toolbar back---I will start using a different browser and delete Fire Fox! I'm getting sick of you people always "fixing" things!

You realize your shouting at Firefox Volunteer Support .....

First Mozilla only approves Extensions for use with Firefox. It remains with the Developer to provide support for their program.

Are you sure you did not just toggle it off ? As it shows it is installed. https://help.aol.com/articles/enable-and-disable-the-aol-toolbar-for-firefox and https://help.aol.com/articles/aol-toolbar-faqs and https://help.aol.com/articles/aol-toolbar-troubleshooting Or are you running this version of Firefox put out by AOL http://extensions.aol.com/-/aolfirefox

Copy/paste into a new tab about:addons then press enter What does it say about your AOL ? Is it Legacy ? At page top right the Gear Icon click and update.

Try if the above has not helped : https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/troubleshoot-extensions-themes-to-fix-problems?redirectlocale=en-US&redirectslug=Troubleshooting+extensions+and+themes

Note : Firefox 57 Quantum release date Nov 14th https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/quantum/ Note : Legacy Extensions will be disabled and or removed.

Please let us know if this solved your issue or if need further assistance.

Hmm, I thought I replied earlier.

If you cannot live without the AOL Toolbar, you may need to switch to the Extended Support Release of Firefox 52. Next week when Firefox 57 is released, extensions will no longer be able to insert whole toolbars into the user interface area, just one button with a drop-down panel.

More info on "ESR": https://www.mozilla.org/firefox/organizations/faq/

Even though ESR was originally developed for companies, lots of individuals use it to retain the ability to run older add-ons.
