I just installed the most current firefox on my mac mini (2.5 GHz Intel Core i5) running OS X El Capitan 10.11.3) and ALL of the bookmarks that used to be in old version have dissapeared. Did they go to Cuba or something?

Hi, not as far as Cuba I hope!

I see you have Trovi Search Plugin 1_0_0 on your machine. This is generally known as a browser hijacker and might be causing your problem, so I would disable or remove it: Open the Add-ons Manager (Cmd+Shift+A) > Plugins.

If that doesn't fix the bookmarks, first try restarting Firefox - 3-bar menu > Exit Firefox in bottom right corner.

If that doesn't help, you can try this: Open bookmarks > Show All Bookmarks > Import and Backup > Restore, and see if you have a backup there.

If not, please see -
