If I add a contact it goes to the Personal address book. If I send to an unknown email address this is saved to the collected address book.

Yes, SERIOUSLY!!! Versions before "update" allowed a choice of phonebooks when addressing e-mails. Personally don't need to wade through 5 times the entries in the "collected" book to get to the select recipients in the "personal" book.

If you can't be helpful and constructive, or don't understand the request, don't strain those last two neurons to come up with a worthless comment just to increase your reply count.

ok so now I understand your talking about the contacts pane in the compose window. Here I was thinking it was something to do with the address book. How hard it is to click the address book you want I really don't know. But the developers are working on a fix for the contact pane to remember the selected address book between sessions as it does now for in session use.

That was June/July when the new problem arose. Being November I thought a progress report of some sort would happen, maybe it has and I haven't found it.
