What key-combinaton am I accidentally hitting that closes Firefox?
I'm left handed. It's likely ctrl & possibly shift and something, or perhaps the ctrl & the mouse? I'm doing some sort of key combo (brought about by extremely fast typing and not knowing for sure what keys I'm just hit) and it's driving me batty.
Please help.

Hello,
Double check your global settings. I think in Linux Ctrl+W is to close a window/tab in addition to Alt+F4.
You can double check Firefox's keyboard shortcuts by going to:
- Help (or > ) > Keyboard Shortcuts
Which brings you to this article: Keyboard shortcuts - Perform common Firefox tasks quickly

On Linux that is likely Ctrl+Q
- Disable Ctrl-Q Shortcut: https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/disable-ctrl-q-shortcut/

Sorry about taking so long to respond. Ctrl-W is the culprit.
