My computer laptop is bit outdated. I will get a new laptop soon. However, I do have some problems with my cellphone. Will be doing Factory Reset this weekend or later. But, I need to save my bookmark on my cellphone. Is there a better way than not be able to use export.

I can't seem to find a way to pin bookmark tiles on the homepage (new tab). I also want to stop recently visited site tiles from appearing there if possible. Homepage and Customize in Settings don't seem to have any options for that now. Android 14, Firefox 120.0.1, Pixel 7a phone.

why firefox don't remember last bookmark folder after opening the site in Android i have to revisit bookmark menu then bookmark folder then bookmark menu after i open a website why it can't remember my last bookmark position.

Hi there, I recently downgraded Firefox on my Android (5.1.1), as the new versions of the app became to get heavy.

I have logged in with my Account and am now trying to get the bookmarks synced. I have no Desktop right now to pair. The bookmarks and the Account are only available on my iPad, where FF is logged in and has the bookmarks synced.

Any ideas how I can fix this? Thanks for any help and regards, Dan

Okay i have lost all my bookmarks on my pc but i still have them on my mobile, doe anyone know how to export or save them all so i can reload them on the pc, thanks in advance

I got a new phone and installed Firefox for Android, and tried to import my bookmarks, but I only have a few of them showing. I have a huge number of bookmarks and I don't want to lose them. Is there any way to recover my bookmarks? I have no access to the previous phone because the charger is warped and the battery is swollen. Thank you.

Good morning everyone. I find managing bookmarks on Firefox for Android extremely difficult. To open a bookmark I have to click on bookmarks, desktop bookmarks, bookmarks bar, favorites bar and choose the bookmark. A very long journey. Furthermore, once I have opened a bookmark and subsequently want to open another one I have to repeat the same very long procedure, Firefox does not resume from the folder where I opened the last bookmark, as happens in other browsers. I don't know if I explained myself. Can it be remedied somehow?

Hi , I have Firefox on old android device ( android 4.0.1 ) and I have a lot of bookmarks on it . I need to backup or save my bookmarks to use it on my new android phone . The problem ( I can't sync or use my fireFox account on the old phone because Firefox not support android 4.0 anymore _ so old devices can't sync anymore) When I try to sync it give an error with empty page.

Hi. I have a question regarding the latest version 118.2.0 for Android. If you want to save websites that you visit often you can press "add to shortcuts" and then you could easy reach them in the Firefox home page. In the new version 118.2.0 you must always press refresh when you open one of the "shortcuts" For example, if you had a shortcut to CNN.com earlier (in the old version) and opened it you always came to the "refresh" side. In the new vesrsion 118.2.0 you always must press "refresh" I dont know if this is a bug or not ? Regards /O

I have synced my bookmarks from my desktop Firefox to Firefox on my Android phone and tablet. If I bookmark something on my tablet, how do I move the bookmark into a desktop folder? I tried creating a bookmark on my tablet, but I can't seem to move it from my tablet to my desktop. I've looked at a help article which helped me create the bookmark, but I tried their saving procedure and had no success. Right now, I save the email containing the link I want to bookmark, then access the email on my desktop and save the bookmark there. How do I save the bookmark directly from the tablet into my desktop folders?

When I open my bookmarks on Android it always defaults back to the top level of my bookmarks which is very irritating. I often read pages that are located under the same bookmark folder. It would be nice if Firefox would remember the bookmark folder I used last like every other browser does.

I have Firefox 118.1.0. I am unable to access file:///data/data/org.mozilla.firefox/files/mozilla/ in the browser's address bar. How would I access this? I wanted the bookmarks file.

When trying to open a bookmarked site, for example "https://mstdn.social/@noelreports", it suggests the site up until having typed in "noe". So, I can type in "n", "o" and "e" and get it suggested all the time. But as soon as "l" is added, the suggestion disappears. But this "l" is part of both the page title and the address, so that is really strange. Very irregularly, when I delete the last letter and retype it, the bookmark suddenly appears. On the synced Windows 10 installation of Firefox, everything works flawlessly.

Hello, I recently tried to create an account to sync everything in firefox on my phone, but after a few attempts the account page just wouldn't load, so I decided to update the app because it was quite some time ago since I last updated it.

But right after the update, everything's gone: bookmarks, history, tabs. I was brought to a getting started page like I never installed firefox. I checked the bookmarks/history options but nothing was there. Shouldn't the app preserve its existing data even after an update? Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
