Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra running latest Android update and latest Firefox update. I set Firefox as my default browser. I have un-installed all updates for Samsung Internet and removed all permissions for it. Disabling it is greyed out. Some apps that I use have links to websites. Too frequently, when I go to one of those links, the intro screen for Samsung Internet opens. Then, when I look at the settings in Firefox it is no longer set as the default. Then I set Firefox to default and go to my phone settings to see that Firefox is selected as the default. If I open the previously mentioned app and choose the web link, Firefox will open. But somewhere along the way, the default changes back to Samsung Internet and it's a vicious circle. I have posted in a Samsung forum but haven't gotten a reply that solved the problem. Please help. Since the 129.0 update, Youtube videos on Firefox for Android are played extremely zoomed in, which makes it impossible to see the entire video image. Only the upper left corner is shown. If I increase the quality of the video, I can see a bigger portion of it, but still not the entire video. Audio works fine. This issue is not present in Chrome or Opera. I use a Huawei P20 Pro with Android 10, and I suspect that this issue is related to Huawei because other Huawei users are reporting it (on Reddit, for instance). I've tried disabling add-ons and deleting app data, but it didn't work. Also updating to 129.0.2 didn't fix the issue.

Could you please look into it?

Since I have been using Firefox Android from S7 Edge to this S23+ it will not follow system settings for dark mode. If I set it to light mode it's always in light mode. if I set it to dark mode it stays in dark mode, no matter what the system setting.

Not really a question but I don't know where else to report bugs, and the developer suggested I post details here. I don't see a bug report forum.

As of version 130, the youtube mobile website does not render popup and floating menus properly anymore (no issues prior to this). The bar at the bottom of the screen for navigation between home, subscriptions etc will completely disappear at random after watching a video and hitting the back button. Also, popup menus (hide a video/ report a video /ignore a channel etc) will be too low and clip off the bottom of the screen. They are displayed behind the android navigation bar, making the lower options impossible to press, and the touch point is misaligned with the text option (pressing one option will give you the result of another option as though you had pressed that button instead.

These issues occur after watching one or two videos and hitting the back button. Functionality is restored by closing the tab or browser and reopening. Reloading the page does not appear to fix it.

As the title says, on the NEC LAVIE Tab T11 11QHD2, a tablet device, the UI for tablets does not appear, and instead the UI for smartphones is forcibly displayed. The screen size is 11.2 inches, which is not the size that would allow for a smartphone UI. This is a very frustrating bug, so please fix it.

Edit: A few hours later, and it magically works perfectly, feel free to close this. Annoyed at loss of data and it randomly fixing itself, but whatever. Sorry to anyone looking at this trying to find a solution as i did.

As in title, for context for a while I've been having minor issue with sync between these two devices, with the syncing being unreliable, often taking trying multiple times, closing and reopening mobile app, and opening a new tab to try and prompt a successful sync, as often the sync would "happen" but the tabs open on the mobile device would be outdated ones.

Today, sync failed to work at all, on both parts (Dekstop app, and android app), i couldn't see tabs from the other device on either device. Trying to resolve this issue, i relogged on both devices, set up and signed out of sync multiple times, disabled and enabled sync again, deleted mobile app cache and tried again, and even reinstalled mobile app and logged in again (which to my surprise, also wiped all my tabs, history, settings, which is quite an annoyance, but I'll leave as a loss). To note, both firefox PC and Android have autoupdate on, dekstop is up to date, though i think i noticed firefox app updating yesterday.

I have read through other firefox sync articles, but none of them provided a working solution. For information, i have noticed something that may be a hint or nothing , please see image attached (nr1). Another thing I've noticed is firefox view not showing it recognizes a connection, image attached (nr2). I am also providing an image of my connected services page, showing the desktop sign on and mobile sign in (whose last connected date does not update), image attached (nr3). Another curiosity is the refresh button in that page, when clicked, perpetually showing as "in progress", but not resolving or updating when i log in mobile app, to see that change only refreshing the page worked.

I really hope for some help with solving this issue. Firefox sync despite its unreliability has been a very convenient tool for me. Naturally if any extra info is needed, i am ready to provide it.

I have a huge problem, whenever I try to play videos or listen to audios they pause immediately upon starting and require me to tap the 'resume' button a million times to listen to 1-5 seconds of the track or video. This has nothing to do with extensions, I tried disabling them all but the problem persisted. Happens no matter what site I'm visiting. Happened a long time ago and none of the recent bug fixes helped, so I decided to finally talk about it. The attached picture explains the problem in a very simplified way I think. I have the latest version right now and the problem is still there so... do I reset all my settings or is it not my browser's settings fault either?
