Firefox browser, v123.0.1, 64-bit. windows 10 Pro, 22H2.

Hello, this may not be a problem with Firefox itself at all, but I'd like to try to understand what the cause of the problem I and others are having.

I have Norton 360 installed, in this Windows 10 computer and like to use Firefox for internet browsing, it has always served me well.

I also have Norton Safe Search integrated/add-on to Firefox. This puts a red, green, or gray check mark at the end of each link that comes up during a search and has always worked before.

Recently, I've noticed that such check marks do not appear at all when doing a search with Firefox, but they are present when I do searches with MS Edge.

I am searching for a solution here, and also in the Norton Community. There are others there who have stated they are having the same problem.

Has anyone here heard of this before, would you have any suggestion as to what may be causing the lack of the Norton Safe Search check marks in Firefox searches?

Any input/suggestions would be welcome.

For a few weeks now, FIrefox will not play DRM content video on this computer. I have tried all the suggested solutions and none have worked. Also, I uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox, but the problem remains. I am very frustrated with this problem and am ready to get rid of Firefox permanently on ALL our computers unless this can be fixed.

For some time now, I've been experiencing the following issues with PiP:

• The floating window opens in a random (and annoying) place and does not place itself automatically on the lower right corner as it used to (where I always move it, so it has no memory as it used to)
• It's impossible to keep the "always on top" mode on by default, and I have to do it every single time
• When I toggle windows, the PiP window is always the next one, even when it was not the one I switched from, and I have to always toggle twice for switching between two windows when I have a 3rd PiP window
• When I change language using the keyboard shortcut, it changes the language on the PiP window, and I have to use the language icon bar. Then, the PiP window becomes activated, and I have to toggle back to the window I was working on before (on which I wanted to change language). I have the "separate languages for separate windows" option activated.

It's been some months now, and all those things were working before an update but never came back...

Does anyone know if there's a way of fixing these issues? I've tried things I found online but nothing seems to work.

I was able to open reddit.com without any problems earlier, but recentrly I'm not able to load it up anymore. The loading screen is eternal and it doesnt show any kind of error (unless it tries to connect for too long like a couple of minutes, then the error does shows up). The site still sends me notificarions through the browser though. Any other site loads up without a problem. I tried to use methods mentioned in the help article (turned off proxy, turned on network.dns.disableIPv6, deleted cookies and cache). In other browsers (Edge, for example) reddit.com loads just fine. Please help me if you can.

When photos, videos, or websites are linked on a FB comment, it used to display a thumbnail preview below the comment. Now it just shows the link. On mobile, the preview appears. So I'm thinking a setting got changed on the desktop version.

Does anyone know what the issue is and how to correct?

I keep hitting sites where menus and selection boxes turn into unreadable Wing Dings? On W11 and cleared and rest the font cache in Windows and still repeatedly seeing the issue?

I am using the apt version of firefox v125.0.2 (64-bit). I do not have a dedicated GPU - I use my intel core's internal gpu only Intel Corporation HD Graphics 620 (rev 02).

I used to play this game named narrow.one, which before I reinstalled the mentioned libraries, was working fine except for crashing a few times. I thought these libraries were causing some issue, so I tried reinstalling them.

I reinstalled the libraries using: `sudo apt install --reinstall --fix-missing libgl1* libegl*`

After installation, I start getting that error. So, I tried reinstalling firefox (using the same command), and then restarting the laptop - but of no use. Chrome seems to be running WebGL, including the game.

In firefox, on the https://get.webgl.org/ page, I see Hmm. While your browser seems to support WebGL, it is disabled or unavailable. If possible, please ensure that you are running the latest drivers for your video card.

After that, I also tried reinstalling `libopengl0` and `libglu1-mesa` and `intel-microcode`, but of no use. Running although, `sudo intel_gpu_top` and then chrome, it seems that the GPU is in use by chrome as well.

I then go to about:support. It shows me the images I have attached. Reading the logs, there several `blocklisted` values in `Decision Log` section. I suspect that's the cause of this issue, but then I don't know how can I un-blocklist the blocklisted things, and even after that, why does Chrome runs webgl if these are blocklisted?

I do not know much about OpenGL, but reading the above stuff, I suppose my GPU is in use and also has a compatible driver (although I am not sure).

Also, running `glxdemo`, `glxheads`, and `glxgears` seems to be rendering stuff.

Should I reinstall firefox after purging it first? Please help.

Please help. I have always been able to access Google Images when using my Firefox browser. Now I only get a limited few. For example if I am searching for images of Cedar Waxwings (a bird) I only see a limited amount of images and the word "Store" keeps showing up. Please tell me how to restore my otherwise satisfying experience of access all IMAGES. Thanks.

Recently firefox stopped filling in my credit card information. 1. On a website asking for a credit card click on the credit card number box. 2. Choose the car from the popup. 3. Popup disappears but nothing is filled in on the website form. 4. Use Google Pay or PayPal to purchase.

This used to work.

New tab opens to blank page and not my home page, which is Google. I have been to setting and went to the drop down box for tab settings but it only gives me an option to make firefox my home page or a blank page. I want Google to be what appears in my new tab when I click on the little + isgn.

I am trying to add custom search engines to Firefox. I have tried the steps given in the forum thread https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1212596.

However when I try to go and add the search engine as per the article given above I do not get the option. Please see the attached screen shot for more details. I do not want to add an extension or a plugin, but just manually have the option of adding search engines.

i am currently at a loss.

I have set up Passkeys for my google accounts. Now i have completely reinstalled my current pc and now there is no QR code showing when trying to log in.

I have another laptop where it will start completely normal. I can switch between a hardwarekey and another system (to show qr code)

Can you help me with this? I cant seem to understand why it is working on my laptop but not on my desktop. I just cant switch to log on with another device, now it is not even giving me the option to log on with a hardware key.

I would appreciate help.

Every time I sign onto Firefox I get the attached message. I think that uninstalling Firefox and reinstalling "may" resolve the problem, but Firefox won't uninstall. I have tried four different ways and it won't uninstall. Can you help me an uninstall process?

Need help figuring out why Firefox has a memory leak after an extended use of Firefox browsing. Don't know if its the result of an extension having this issue, or if its a Firefox bug. I have been using Firefox on my Mac for years with no problems. Recently, however, I have been having trouble running YouTube. I get to the correct page for the video I want but the video itself does not show up, just the background for the page. Any idea what I might have done to create this problem?

I have a 2019 Macbook Pro 16" and whenever I share a FireFox window on facetime, I'm unable to stop sharing it until I end the Facetime call. Even then, the sharing screen notification still appears in the top right in the menu bar and I'm unable to share my screen for future Facetime calls unless I restart my laptop (thus removing the problem). Is this a known issue, and is there a way to fix it other than restarting my laptop?

To check my icloud email, I log into icloud.com, enter my password, got through a two step authorization process and ask to stay signed in. I successfully access my email messages. When opening a message that has a hyperlink, I lose the iclolud connection. The link opens in a new browser window, but when i return to the email I am frequently signed out. Apple support does not know what the issue is; they suggested a different browser. This does not seem to happen with Microsoft Edge - and I don't want to use it.

Just transferred from old MacBook Pro to new one. Successful migration except: The icon for the WE Transfer service doesn't show up in the narrow black ribbon at the top of the Firefox page - instead there's a blue exclamation point in a blue circle. Clicking the blue circle/exclamation point takes me to the WE Transfer page. What do I need to do to get the actual icon to replace the blue circle/exclamation point? Thanks in advance.

So for some reason I have two versions of Firefox on my computer (Windows 64 bit), I am logged in and using one of them, and the other is just there. I could log in there but I don't want to, I just want to get rid of it. Links from Telegram open in it, creating a second Firefox window instead of opening in another tab in the already open Firefox window, which is very inconvenient. The windows list of programs which can be uninstalled only has one Firefox (I've tried deleting and reinstalling, it doesn't help). But when I try to choose a default browser I get 2 icons to choose from which look the same (see screenshot). What the heck? How do I manage this!
