I have a vaio VGN-A250 - Firfox 4 loaded - having trouble scrolling with pointer in center third of window. All other applications work with pointer anywhere in app window except FireFox. Any suggestions?

If pointer is on the left side of window, or right side of window, or bottom, or top, then it will scroll. center part of Firefox window will not scroll. This is in using the touch pad. This pad functions normally in all other applications. In order to scroll, the pointer must be moved to one side.
