Junk (Spam) folder disappeared after ThunderBird upgrade

My Junk (Spam) folder disappeared after I upgraded my ThunderBird email. Judging from the Mozilla support issues, in contrast to most users, I WANT my Spam folder! Why? Because, many announcements—clubs or whatever—send notices that go into Spam. Or, if I order from an online source, they will send me a link to update my password or finish my order, but I can't see it. Whereas, before my ThunderBird upgrade, they would show up in the Spam folder--no problem.

I remember specifically allowing the upgrade (after which Spam disappeared), but I do not remember exactly when. Apparently at that time, I allowed automatic upgrades, meaning recent upgrades have been happening in the background. (I did NOT specifically allow four upgrades in 2022!)

Here is my Thunderbird Update History, as of 4-19-2022 at 8:52 am: 91.8.0 04-13-22 91.7.0 03-12-22 91.6.1 02-26-22 91.5.0 01-25-22 91.4.1 12-20-21 91.4.0 12-07-21 91.3.2 11-20-21 91.3.1 11-15-21 91.3.0 11-05-21 91.2.1 10-22-21

I'm 80% positive my lack of Spam mail predated Oct 2021, but not sure.

Recently, as a means to get Spam, I logged onto my account on SanBrunoCable.com and used their MagicMail app, which showed my desired Spam--until 04-11-2022, when MagicMail mysteriously stopped updating. (Obviously NOT a Mozilla issue...). So currently, I am unable to get any Spam emails.

I have tried following clues from online Mozilla support about subscribing my Spam (Junk) folder, or un-subscribing and re-subscribing the Junk folder, but I cannot get it to work.

I have used Mozilla Firefox and Thunderbird for several years, and prefer to continue. I like the Thunderbird interface, and I want to keep my emails on my computer, not "in the cloud". And of course, I don’t want to change. Of course!

Can you folks help me, please? Think of what a great story you'll have to tell, helping this old guy that WANTS his Spam. Yet oddly enough, from the religion he was raised in, cannot eat pork...

Many Thanks in advance, Michael Mc

Computer: PC Details: Current Mozilla Thunderbird version is: 91.8.0 (32 bit) Operating System: Windows Home, Version 10.0.19043 Build 19043 (Presumably 32-bit?)
