Hi -- I hope someone can help with this recent problem that has cropped up. Videos that are supposed to be autostart, such as news stories embedded on pages of news sites or video feeding into a side panel on a college sports site I frequent are just continually in buffer mode with the little spin icon in the middle of the screen. This also happens with some, but not all, YouTube videos.

This is a recent development and I didn't do anything to change my setup. I did try updating to make sure I have the most recent version of Firefox, so that's been accounted for. If I close out Firefox and come back to it after a couple of minutes, the problem is cleared, but it only lasts a little while before it begins once again.

Any suggestions? Thanks!

If I add sites to 'Exceptions - HTTPS-Only Mode' list, I expect that sites are preserved after browser close and restart. But after I close and restart Firefox, the list become empty.

I don't know why this happens. I even deleted every profiles and created new profile. The problem still exists.

Is there any way to manually add HTTPS-Only exception list by editing files in profile directory like 'prefs.js' as a workaround? If Firefox can't save the data, I will manually edit that file and mark it as read-only.

Built in PDF reader is showing blank and then prompting to close firefox -

Please help I am support a company who are really big on Firefox and love the built in PDF reader feature but recently when they open files they show blank and you ar then requested to close Firefox.

Any ideas of what the problem could be?

He has the latest version of Firefox from today I can see there was an update 2 days ago and there where some new features on the reader could this be the reason?

Hello- I am having a very strange thing when using Firefox. I type and certain letters pop that I have not typed. It is different letters that are affected. it has been the E a number 2 shows instead s a m shows instead. There have been others but I did not make note, My solution is to close firefox and reopen. I have updated to newest version. Do you know why this is happening and a better solution. Also when I go to Chrome the letters do not transpose. HElp Stephana

Recently, in the past month or so, I have been having issues with my VPN addon Private Internet Access, my email provider Shortwave, and loading numerous websites. I tried troubleshooting it for a few weeks individually but it took a full Firefox refresh last week to get things working again. And it took only another week for everything to stop working again. The images in my emails are no longer loading (same issue as before), but they load in Gmail and I can download the emails properly, my VPN addon crashes and can't stay logged in same as before, and websites such as Nextdoor (I hate the drama but love the free goods) won't load the items for sale same as before.

I don't want to have to refresh every week, especially since I this is the computer I use for work and the amount of things I have to log back into is insane.

All downloads "fail" using Firefox. I have tried many things. Some on the internet says the fix is difficult. Other browsers have no issues with downloads. I go to them when I need to download something. I like Firefox, but if I can't resolve this issue, I may have to go to another browser. Help.

I recently uninstalled Firefox and reinstalled it directly from the microsoft store as it was very slow (probably due to not being updated) and I am sad to see all my bookmarks and important information is gone. Is there any way I can restore it? Thank you in advance.

A webpage (https://cozumelparks.com/en/chankanaab/) occasionally tells me I need to update Firefox. (FYI, something similar happens when I access the page via Chrome). I've checked and know my Firefox is up-to-date. So, this seems very sketchy. What's up with this seemingly dangerous request to click and "Update Firefox"??

while using the site https://animesuge.to/home and using any server other than filemoon, the audio will either play for split second and then mute, or it wont play at all. The video itself plays fine. i tried it using other browsers and it works fine, it only happens while using firefox. i tried turning off all extensions and running in troubleshoot mode but neither of these helped.

I used Linux Mint Debian Edition 5 and now I am on the latest 6 Faye. I like using Pandora on FF and have no problem on playback. How ever, the level of sound will start and default to some were of %50-%80. So I'll have to select sound/settings/applications and it'll show FireFox: % not at %100. So I turn it up, every single time. How ever this does not happen on any other webpage like youtube for example. I tried this with LMDE 6 brand new after full updates and no sign in's except for Pandora to get into my account and it'll do the same thing. I have a 5.1 Dolby sound system and my 4K tv hooked up to the PC and either way will do the same thing only for Pandora. This is truly not a big deal, how ever it is annoying as I LOVE to play LOUD music while I game on my Console(s). I fill it is in something with config:ff but I don't want to mess around to much. Any idea's?

Like the title says, certain part of UI, including text fields, are displaying the font shown in the screenshot I added. I tried disabling add-ons and updating the app, but neither worked.

When I went to watch Tubi TV today I got this error message when I tried to load the video:

"Oops, your web browser is no longer supported. Please upgrade to a modern, fully supported browser."

But only for a few seconds, then it shows

"Sorry, there was a problem loading the video player. Please try to reload the page. If you are using an ad-blocker, please disable it or whitelist tubitv.com If the problem persists, please contact us at tubitv.com/support"

I booted my firefox in safe mode, still get this exact sequence of events. My firefox is up-to-date. Is there a workaround for Tubi blocking content from firefox browsers? Is that what this is? Thank you

its the browser, the opperative said when I phoned in about no access. try chrome, they said and true enough it worked. Just shy of 15 years with firefox and now nothing but problems, the cut and paste does not work and now this! pointless staying with them

Can't get to Google apps from google home page. Dots for Google apps not there. Only way they appear is to search for something. Otherwise you can't get to apps (no nine dots) or even sign in to google. Nosigh-in box either on first open of browser. Thanks for the help.
