Firefox provides no way in the UI to remove the garbage. It may also be responsible for F-fox leaving numerous .part files on my mac desktop.

Running 112.0.1. (Mac, Monterey).

Maybe revert to 111?

Over a year ago, I was trying to create a keyboard shortcut when searching in the Firefox address bar. I don't remember exactly what I did, but now when I type in "LNP" to begin the search, it was supposed to route me to a google search of a particular website. It doesn't work and I get this:

If I go to the new Google CSE user site, there's nothing in the account. I deleted some of my Firefox extensions, nothing. Can anyone figure out what I did and how I can get rid of it?

Since the last update 4/18/23, I have been getting the following message on any internet searches through FireFox: Error Description: Could not process this "GET" request.

The same search will work on other browsers.

I keep getting an error message when I'm on my Comcast home page that says "the page is slowing down the Firefox.Do you want to stop the page. When I stop the page than some of my apps on my Comcast home page don't work.Please help.Thanks.

I am finding more than ever that Firefox is no longer working on several apps. When I log into my banking app it logs in but then locks up and will not allow me to maneuver on the site. On Microsoft teams audio does not work even though it is not muted and I cannot see other participants even though video is on. If I switch to Microsoft Edge both my banking and Teams programs work without problems. I have used Firefox for years but I am ready to go to another web browser since I have to switch to another browser many times anyway. Is there a solution? If not I will be moving to Edge as much as I hate to.

i have used Firefox to access a music website for ages -- Banjo Hangout and have never had any trouble the site has Tablature of songs and when you click on a song the music file can be accessed

For the past 2 days the tablature itself does not load and it not accessible on my computer -- and I get the error message ON THE MUSIC SITE that the tablature is corrupt --

BUT I used Microsoft Edge on a lark and it worked -- so the issue is clearly Firefox

Might it be that all of a sudden Firefox is unable to synch with the files at Banjo Hangout??

Very odd and I'd rather stick with Firefox p-- any ideas?

When I go to Target.com and click on the search box to search for an item, Firefox isn't letting me enter any text! It's like the search box doesn't exist. Why can't I enter text here?

I'm on Mac running Ventura 13.3.1 and the latest Firefox 112.0.1 (64-bit)

I'm extremely frustrated with firefox at this point for not being able to do something very simple which google chrome has. I want to organize my tabs into groups so that the next time my tabs close unexpectedly, I can open all of the ones from that group. I naturally organize them right now into windows and I minimize the window if I'm not using the tabs in that window. However, my new laptop cannot handle having more than 3 windows with 5 tabs open at a time. Last week, I was on a video call and firefox closed all of my windows that I had organized my tabs into. Once I was able to reboot firefox, I could not click "restore session" because I needed to get on the video call. Then the "restore session" button was lost. Many of the tabs I haven't touched for a few weeks, even though they were all organized together, I can't find them in my history together because I wasn't using them all on the same day and some of them were sitting unused but on a digital to do list within that window. I've tried every single tab organizer that is "recommended" on the firefox extensions and they all suck. I don't understand why they automatically hide my tab groups and then I can't open them again, I don't understand why I need to duplicate a tab to mark it in a certain container, it just feels like none of these are simple and none of them will do what I want them to. I want to speak to a real person. I need help. I don't think I can use firefox anymore. Why is there no help people here.

First came the Linux upgrade and with it the enforced new Firefox version. The new Firefox appeared "raw" with none of my previous settings. I am having trouble filling in the Firefox toolbar and recovering things like "most visited" sites listing and many others. There must be a common sense limit to the "happy developers'" ideas.

My laptop needed to be completely reset to its beginning stage. I did not have the opportunity to save any bookmarks before this happened. Is there any opportunity under my login to recover these bookmarks now?

I logged into my bank acct. as usual to check my balance and transactions. All went well until I reached my balance figure. Usually, I click on that balance figure to reveal the previous transactions. This time and all following times, the transactions did NOT appear! Long story/short, I contacted Key Bank's Customer Support only for them to tell me that Key does not support Firefox browsers anymore 'after their security updating!' They suggest switching to mainstream browsers like Google Chrome, Safari, and Microsoft Edge!

I have been a satisfied user of Firefox for years now and don't want to change now! I suspect that because Firefox has good security features, this has become "undesirable" to mainstream business sites because they prefer the mainstream browsers that have (Browser Fingerprinting technology) to track the activities of the users of their sites!!! My question now is: Can Firefox find a way to fix this problem???

i did a fresh clean install of windows and downloaded and signed into firefox browser. all my settings and extentions appeared as well as bookmarks however my logins and passswords are not there. can you help ?

a few web sites refuse to work with Firefox so I up dated the application. But now some of my bookmarks disappear and I would like also the bookmarks to open on the left side of the scree as before . Please don't force me to go to windows Edge or Google Chromes which I'm force to use at the moment as three web site including my bank refuse to work under Firefox platform. Thank you
