Why did you make it impossible for me to use some programs?

First off - Please delete any registration by me under the email: buchajaa@nb.sympatico.ca because your system can not recognize it, even when I ask for a change in passwords your system frigs it up. So I am giving up on that address. I hope I remember I sent this to you using my new address. I seldom use it, but your system just can not handle a login with my other email address. Secondly - I have a program which controls all my passwords. I delayed upgrading to 22.0 in order to get an updated version of Flashcatch Pro [which is never supported when you change your versions - shameful] and then I tried to get into my bank today (after the 'update') and it would not work because you guys disabled Java. Thanks a bunch. Now I have to search for each password I have. You could have let the user determine whether or not he wanted to enable it or not. Yeah, I get the security bit but this really ticks me off because I searched for a good UI for a password program which didn't cost a great deal and now this. Constantly having to search for addons which will work with your so called "up grades".

I do not want to use IE and I don't particularly want to use Chrome or any other but you are forcing me into it. IE - eck. I hate it and really don't want to use it. Is there a fix for this? or maybe Is there a way I can downgrade to a "better" version which gives the user some control? Do I sound like I am ticked off. I'm sorry for that but I am. Now if I can only remember what I signed up under and with what password SINCE I can't use my program now. You all have a good day.  :)

Chosen solution

Does the burro pull the cart, or does the cart push the burro?

It is up to the add-ons to be compatible with Firefox, not the other way around.

It may very well be "up to the add-ons to be compatible with Firefox, not the other way around." However, the same one [FlashCatch Pro]. It is almost like you guys have it in for them for some unknown reason. However, that is not even the reason for the post. That is why the so-called "post of an answer" is of no use what so ever. And a condescending reply to my concern, especially for a moderator. You got caught up in just one little fact that any body knows - even me. I'm more concerned about the loss of my ability to use the program I have for passwords. Of course that is not Mozilla's fault that JAva is so vulnerable, but it isn't mine either and I am the one who has to suffer at this point. I knew I should not have updated but my wife was not having any visible problems (she does not have the program) so I thought I would go ahead with the update. Worst thing I have done in years except for these 2 posts.

See below your so-called answer to my question. I also noticed you have marked it solved. If, as a moderator, you can say that your response was considerate of the people using the system then I guess it was solved. If I was to mark it I would say the reply was very condescending and thus worthy of a 1 out of 10 as far as a reply goes. In the future please do not answer my posts as I would like to be treated with a little respect as I'm sure you would like. Please get some other Mod who can perhaps relate to a person's concern. Your answer may be correct but your way of putting it across sounds like some of the 13 year old school children I use to teach. You have a good day.
