hello jstanaway, this is likely caused by an outdated addon. other users have reported in the past that the avg toolbar can cause it. please disable it & see if this works. otherwise you could try disabling all your addons & re-enable them in batches until you find out which one is the culprit.
I had the same problem. I resolved by erasing Firefox browser through the Control Panel and re installing Firefox.
