Since upgrading to Firefox 10, I can no longer download pdfs from Scopus, I just get an error message. I also have trouble saving pdfs to file from other academic sites.

Hi,

Can you copy and paste the error message you're getting, so I can research the problem for you?

Thanks, Michelle

Hi Michelle, The error message is:

Unfortunately we are unable to process your request.

Scopus download full text button button is not currently supported in your computer environment. The Document Download Manager on Scopus is only compatible with:

32-bit /64-bit Windows® 2000/XP/Vista/7

   Mozilla® Firefox® 2.X, 3.X, 4.X, 5.X, 6.X, 7.X, 8.X and 9.X
   Microsoft Internet Explorer version 6.X , 7.X, 8.X and 9.X

Mac OS Tiger, Leopard, Snow Leopard and Lion

   Safari 3.X, 4.X and 5.X

So it's quite clear! But wondered if there is any way round it.

Thanks, Amanda

Hi,

Thanks for the detailed error, I suspect that you'll have to wait for an update to Scopus to become available. But, maybe another expert on this forum knows a workaround.
