after transferring data, etc. to a newer computer, I somehow now have a version 3 something of Firefox and version 9 won't replace it.... can I find an intermediate version to update and then install the latest version?

Chosen solution

Download and update to 3.6.25 from http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all-older.html and then you should be able to upgrade to 9.0.1
