I have tried to personalize fonts and menu colors on windows 7 but having problems. Is Firefox 8 preventing personalization of windows?

trying to change fonts AND colors in windows 7 personalization feature but only font changes seem to change. Color changes for menu active and inactive doesn't seem to change. Is it tied to Firefox non-compatibility ?
