Quicktime movie contained in website runs choppy in Firefox 8

I am creating my first website (!!) I'm using iWeb. I've inserted a page with a QuickTime movie, set for AutoPlay. When I test this page in Firefox, the movie starts but play very choppy for the first few seconds. When I test this same page in Safari or Opera, it runs smoothly.
