I am unable to connect to certain websites, as my request is redirected. A user in another forum suggests the virus is located in the Firefox Extension Shockwave Flash (Flash Player) but he doesn't know how to get rid of the virus, even using antivirus software!

There is an opt out webpage which I used but when I restarted FireFox it reared it's ugly head again. It's a cookie which I found once but can't find this time. Another post said that it came back when they nuked the cookie. Apparently it comes back when you opt out also. Try www.textsrv.com/optout.php

If you've set your preferences to delete cookies upon exiting Firefox then the www.textsrv.com/optout.php cookie is being removed. Henceforth, the reason you must open www.textsrv.com/optout.php each time you open Firefox. I'd like to know how set up Firefox so that particular cookie (www.textsrv.com/optout.php) would not be deleted when exiting Firefox. Any ideas? Thanks
