Firefox and IE do not store contacts locally, they will be part of the web based email service that you are using and will not need to be imported. They are stored on the servers for the web based email service and will be available when using Firefox.

When first installed it normally asks if you want to import data, if it does not you can follow the instructions in the link I posted above.
