When opening a New Window I lose all my bookmarks in the New Window, Why?

However I open a new window from my starting Firefox 4.0 window, the new window is fine except the bookmark toolbar is empty.

If I click 'View' then 'Toolbars' the 'Bookmarks Toolbar' entry is ticked. If I untick it and then tick it again then my bookmarks reappear.
