Why do my thumbnails not all load on a page like they used to before the last Firefox update?

I used to love firefox and used it exclusively as my web browser. But ever since the last update to version 3.6.15 the thumbnails on the websites I ALWAYS visit no longer all load! Some of the thumbnails load and some don't. If I close firefox and go back to the same page I may get some of the thumbnails to load that didn't before but others that DID load before don't this time. This same problem happens at other sites as well. So, I gave up using firefox and switched back to IE because it works properly at least though I don't like it as much as firefox. I wish they hadn't tried to fix something that wasn't broken because now it is broken!

Did you check your security software (firewall)?

A possible cause is security software (firewall) that blocks or restricts Firefox or the plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.

Remove all rules for Firefox from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full unrestricted access to internet for Firefox and the plugin-container process.
