sfter upgrade to 3.6.11, firefox wont work thru my VPN

after 3.6.11, firefox wont work. When I discon VPN, it loads the page. I downgrade back to 3.6.2 and it works with vpn on or off. But after about an hour, firefox auto-upgrades to 3.6.11 again.
