First of all, I will let you know that Firefox's support is community driven. As is Firefox as a whole, to be fair. We are users, just like you, trying to help each other :)

Now, as for your problem, I'm not really sure I understand what it is, but you may be having a problem with some extension or plugin that is hindering your Firefox's normal behavior. Have you tried disabling all add-ons (just to check), to see if Firefox goes back to normal?
