Firefox randomly closes. Sometimes when I close something sometimes when I put something in the address bar or sometimes just moving around. Everything closes no warning no message. When I try to reopen it sometimes it says it is already running but not
It just closes everything. All tabs all windows and everything at the bottom that is minimized. Goes to desktop just like I xed out.

Hello Ron.
Those are called crashes or CTDs (clear to desktop). There are many possible causes for that:
- faulty extensions: run Firefox in safe mode to disable all extensions and see if the problems percist. If they don't, try to disable your extensions, one at a time, to see which one it is that's giving you trouble.
- faulty plugins: disable all plugins that you don't need. The usual user will only need a PDF plugin, a Java plugin, Shockwave and Flash.
- firewall or antivirus settings: theoretically, it's possible that some antivirus or firewalls are set in a way that crash Firefox under certain circumstances. DO NOT browse the web without an antivirus and firewall running and updated, but make sure that they are set as not to hinder Firefox's usage.
