Facebook thinks my desktop is an Android device

Hey Everyone, Facebook was working fine on my desktop until yesterday when Facebook decided it wasn't and switched me to its Android version 'for a better user experience' which (as usual with FB) means it's worse. For example I can search FB Groups but I can't open any of them. Also It tells me I have to switch to Messenger' but the install link doesn't work so I'm probably missing all my messages. Please help - I don't want to use a different browser, I like Firefox :).

At the top of the facebook page next to notification icon you will find a downward arrow (its for account) click on it, it has your account info, settings etc in that menu you will also notice switch it to basic facebook or classic facebook, just click on it and your problem will be solved.

Thanks for the suggestion. Unfortunately I see very little on my laptop screen (I don't know what one normally sees on a phone as I don't use FB on my phone so this might be less than you usually get). If I click the menu link it just gives me my groups, friends, etc lists (although I can;t actually go to them!). Is there a Firefox option in the desktop version that allows one to refuse the Android version of websites? I believe there is that option on the mobile/tablet version.

If there was an opposite, I believe that I would never open my android.
