After latest update Firefox cannot launch

Running current updated WIN10. After updating Firefox, it will not launch. I get multiple messages, saying that Firefox is already running, close the current Firefox. I have removed all mozilla apps for a fresh install. Yet it continues to do the same. I am forced to use Edge.

Anyone experiencing the same, and any answers?
