I have accidently delete a folder on the server (not recoverable). I have a local copy that I am not letting to sync to the server (avoid being wiped). I need to copy the email from this folder to another folder to preserve the content and then allow it to sync to the server. But Thunderbird won't allow me to do it because it requires a connection to the server to copy anything. Please help.

That is one of the things the Thunderbird Local Folders account is for. Make a folder there and COPY the messages into the new folder. Copy is safer than move in case something goes wrong with the move you still have the originals.
